Carnaro Institute awards the winners of the technical drawing contest “Renewable Energy”

Tomorrow, Saturday 7 November at 4.30 pm in the “Aula Magna” of the I.I.S.S ‘Carnaro-Marconi-Flacco-Belluzzi’ school, the awards ceremony will be held for the first technical drawing competition on the theme of ‘Renewable Energy’, organized by the school itself. The event will be attended by various representatives from institutions and professional associations, teachers and students and their families.

The initiative was supported by Global Solar Fund, a leading Italian solar power operator, with operational headquarters in Brindisi.A concrete example of how schools and businesses can work together to promote the educational and professional growth of students.

Eight middle schools from the province of Brindisi took part in the competition, which was held on 22 and 28 May, with a total of 70 pupils involved. The top three will be awarded a laptop, a tablet and a printer, while all participants will receive free technical material and a certificate of participation, as a souvenir of the event.

It is an initiative we particularly care about because it is a concrete example of collaboration between schools and businesses for the educational growth of our students. Technical drawing is a very important subject for new professionals – emphasises Giuseppe Tammaro, CEO of GSF in Italy. After all, how could we not be enthusiastic supporters, as the aim is to stimulate young students to develop technical projects in the field of renewable energy.
